On 13th of April 2024, Tour Director Steven Leu led our annual seminar for training Tour Leads & Sweep. He was assisted by a number of seasoned UMN members. Together they passed on their wisdom on how to design, organize and lead/sweep tours. The theory portion was delivered in a meeting room at the Manotick Public Library (5499 S River Drive, Manotick) starting at 12:30 pm. After the theory, participants put their new skills into practice with a short practice tour finishing at the Swan on the Rideau Pub for an early supper. About half a dozen participants attended the seminar and UMN welcomes them to our cadre of tour leads and sweeps.
