Lac Simon-Duhamel (LSD) Tour

Seven cars left from the C2M2 Home Base (we would pick up an 8 th on the Quebec-side) to test LSD 1 and 3 routes for C2M2. The first task would be to test the “zipper maneuver”—patent pending. Briefly the tour opened up like a zipper into two lanes, went through two sets of lights, closed like a zipper and immediately exited onto an on-ramp. It was pure poetry of motion that would be a tribute to the Canadian Snowbird Aeronautic Team.
The LSD route travels through rural Quebec, crosses at a ferry twice, visits two waterfalls, and has a wonder lunch at Café du Bistrot in Saint-André-Avellin. And there are some twisties thrown in for good measure. A fun day for all.

Our home for 3 nights is the Abbasia Collemedio Resort. A former Abbey in the Umbria region. Fantastic place with great views and excellent food.
