Italy 2026 – Day 1
As excited children are unwrapping a gift, the UMN members were taken by limo from our spectacular Rome Hotel to the Miata Garage and found out what today’s car would be.
The cars that we are driving range NA, NB , NC and ND along with a Fiata and a Mercedes convertible.
Cars are changed each day on a schedule throughout the week and members were thrilled to drive models they don’t own.
The Fiata has a 1.5 litre turbo and sounds mean. Gail and Suzie drove it today and put it through its paces.
Roads here are amazing and they say that the US has tail of the dragon but in Italy we have the whole Dragon!
175 KM today with 5000 turns. We had lunch in Orvieto and are at a home base for 3 days in Umbria and another fantastic dinner expected tonight with a possible wedding in the wind !
