Day 3 was a circle route visiting. Leaving the Collomedia resort travelling through Umbria region and the day was filled with amazing routes through spectacular scenery!
The Afternoon was spent a local Karting track where the group held Kart racing competition.
Ladie’s Cup was won by Bob Gauthier-later disqualified in gender testing 😉 . Suzie made a daring pass on the last lap to beat Leah: both ladies were extremely fast and competitive!
The Men’s Cup, our tour lead Franchesco, despite a handicap of a few pounds proved the adage “smooth is fast“. After staring the race in third, he battled his way to the front and stayed there! Battles in the pack were Leu and Gauthier, Montor, and an American on the tour.
Winners got medals, prosecco and a medal ceremony!
Some people had arranged a spa appointment so they left early to get pampered.
It was back to the hotel for dinner and wine. The food is good and plentiful.
Everyone was tired and it was an early night for most of the group as we are moving to Tuscany tomorrow.
Today we started in the Tuscany region and traveled cross-country on our way back to Rome.
