Twelve cars came out for the first post-C2M2 ICR to the Carp Custom Creamery in Carleton Place. The rain, such as it was, had ended early so we had dry and bright conditions for the drive. The got underway ahead of schedule—a favorable development given the diminishing daylight hours now upon us. Many opted to make the return drive on their own, while others stayed to photograph the stunning sunset.

A group of 12 enjoyed a excellent ICR to La Cigale tonight. We we very happy to see Louis Philippe and Pauline and the Coulombe family members join us for the ICR. We departed at 6:30 travelled the usual route from the Ottawa side of the bridge over to Quebec and on one of Quebec […]
UMN Members kicked off the Special End of Season ICR 2025, with great style and flair. And why shouldn’t they? Early week forecast predicted rain and lots of it, instead, participants got to experience everything we’d want from a Miata tour – sunny skies, beautiful scenery, great driving conditions, delicious food and for those not […]
Well, it was another near-perfect ICR. Great weather, great roads and a great gang. We gathered at the Terry Fox Drive Beer Store but it was undergoing some road work (read gravel) so we switched parking lots and it turned out better. Group 1 departed on-time in an orderly fashion and no one got caught […]
There were 24 cars in two groups for the second annual Richmond ICR under beautiful conditions of 22 degrees with sun and cloud. The speedy second group had virtually caught up to the slowpoke first group by the time we had navigated the twisties to the quaint village of Appleton. We passed through the sleepy […]
The weather was perfect as 16 cars met at the Mews in Manotick with a 17th joining in Spencerville. Given the number, there were two groups. Group 1 departed at 17:45 arriving in Spencerville at 18:45 with Group 2 departing at 17:55 and arriving at 18:45, both groups proceeding south paralleling the Rideau River, skirting, […]
The rain showers had passed and the roads were dry. A hint of forest fire smoke remained in the air. We headed East from Place d’ Orléans. Following as close as possible to the Ottawa River, we enjoyed a leisurely drive through Wendover, and a slightly more energetic drive to Blue Corners and its dairy […]
It was a near perfect ICR to Merrickville. We gathered in the parking lot at Manotick Mews under sunny skies with some new faces in attendance. The drive down was smooth, sunny and pleasant. It was just a joy to be out there taking in the sights. The run along the south shore of the […]
The weather forecast was all over the place on Wednesday July 9 for the scheduled ICR to Almonte. That resulted in several last-minute cancellations and additions, until we settled at 14 cars and 2 groups, reorganizing under the protection of umbrellas. The trip to Almonte was mostly roof up, but pleasant with a few stalwarts […]
The weather Gods were with us. It was a beautiful hot and warm evening with a bit of clouds at the end of the night. Despite the long drive, (the near solstice scheduling of the tour helped) the nine cars still had a chance to see the sun setting and some nice views of the […]
