L’Original, Blue Corners, Ice Cream Run

The rain showers had passed and the roads were dry. A hint of forest fire smoke remained in the air. We headed East from Place d’ Orléans. Following as close as possible to the Ottawa River, we enjoyed a leisurely drive through Wendover, and a slightly more energetic drive to Blue Corners and its dairy bar. The meandering road was scenic and suitably twisty.
Our sweep noticed that we were being followed by a mystery Miata. They joined us at Blue Corners, and we may have recruited another couple of members for the UMN!
As always, we were enthusiastically welcomed by Marc, who served rather large portions of delicious ice cream.
We were thrilled to welcome Louis-Phillippe and family members who joined us for this event.
